Cozy stay with a delicious breakfast
We spent 2 nights and the place felt modern and tidy. Breakfast was a real treat—ordered fresh instead of that boring buffet style. The only bummer was that our room was a bit cramped and super hot at night. The dining area had a nice vibe though, which made up for it! a fun experience.

The staff were incredibly welcoming throughout my stay! The outstanding food at dinner really exceeded my expectations, turning out to be the highlight of my evening. I also appreciated the lovely breakfast. it was a fantastic way to start the day. I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere in the dining area, making it a lovely space to relax after a long day.
Unfortunately, the temperature in my room was quite hot at night.

Had a great experience at the Black Bull in Tarbolton. The highlight was definitely the dinner. the 10oz Ribeye was cooked perfectly with all the trimmings. The peppercorn sauce on the steak added an extra touch. My wife enjoyed her Christmas dinner, and we couldn’t fault the desserts either. The service stood out. the staff were attentive without being intrusive, making the meal even more pleasant. On the downside, our room felt a bit cramped. The bathroom needed some attention, with a bit of mould in the shower area. the curtains didn't fit the window properly, which could have disturbed our sleep if it had been sunny. the atmosphere was inviting, and the staff made us feel welcome throughout. Just a few small details could elevate the whole experience.
